My ramblings on where the Going Out team are 26 years later.... Just for fun.......
Cathy
Left at 17 went to Liverpool. Became a very successful business woman. Never
settled down. Never married. Currently has a boy friend, nothing very serious.
Shes a minor celebrity after appearing on ‘Dragons Den’.
Sean
Did an engineering apprenticeship. Settled down at 23 married a girl 2 years
younger from same school. Steady Eddie – doesn’t take risks. 2 kids,
a boy 14, girl 12. Unhappy marriage, shes a nag, he just keeps his head down.
Loves his kids. Never had an affair. Now works as an area sales rep and drives
a Ford Mondeo.
Sammy
Joined the Navy. Still serving on extended service. Chief Petty Officer. 3 divorces,
currently has two ‘serious’ women on the go. Small flat in Portsmouth.
He has to leave the Navy at the end of the year and he is shit scared.
Roger
& Gerry
First child at 18 married at 19. Hes a postman and does some deals on the side
to supplement his income. He’ll have a go at anything to make a few quid
extra to take the wife and five kids to Spain each year. Drinking, smoking,
swearing and chips everyday for this family. Still on the same council estate.
Dikey
Got his act together. At the height of his success he owned 17 mens outfitters
on the south coast - 'Dikes for Men'. In 1990 he bought two other clothes chains
but overstretched himself. He now has just 2 shops left. He is very very happy.
Works sensible hours and spends time with his wife whom he loves very much.
£500,000 house by the sea. Appartment in Malta and a boat. No children
but currently trying to adopt from abroad.
Arty
Jackson
In and out of prison his whole life. The resident town idiot! Everybody knows
him, every towns got one. Hes still a bully, beer stained Motorhead T-shirt
and greasy hair.
Caretaker
Became a postman and is now Rogers boss, but they are best mates and play in
the same darts team.
Rick
Doctor currently working for the Red Cross in Africa

Now owns an international chain of traditional English fast food shops called
The Beef Basin – you must try the Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding Burger,
(commonly known as the Arbey Wipey Burger – RB YP!! ) A multimillionaire,
Sir Alec.
