Michele Winstanley – Cathy Wickes

I thought that Michele was the sexiest thing on TV in 1981. Those smouldering eyes and the sexy looks over her shoulder, to a hormonal 17 year old she was the best. She reminded me of a girl I was seeing at the time (minus the metal).

Michele has cropped up in many different TV shows and films over the years. I’m sure that I also remember a ‘Safeway’ TV ad in the late 80s/early 90s, that featured her pushing a trolley around the supermarket with a toddler in it?

Remembrance 1982 - A group of Devonport-based Royal Navy ratings, due to sail for a six-month NATO exercise, go out on the town on their last night in port, hitting Plymouth's notorious Union Street district, with violent results.

Sid and Nancy 1986 – She appeared as Olive McBollocks, alongside Perry Benson. In the biographical story of Sex Pistol Sid Vicious, and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen. When the Sex Pistols break up after their fateful US tour, Vicious attempts a solo career while in the grip of heroin addiction. Nancy is found stabbed to death and Sid is arrested for her murder.
